A handout designed to go along with the metric system video at ChemistryIsMyJam.com. The video covers what matter is as well as the differences between pure substances and mixtures. Atoms, elements, molecules, compounds, and chemical formulas are introduced. Distillation and filtration are introduced as a method of separating the components of mixtures. This video is intended to help students understand chemistry or to help teachers who are trying to flip their chemistry classroom.
